Talking with Jesus

One of the things that I have learned the most this summer is the importance of prayer. When I got the job at the factory, (by the way, my last day was Wednesday!!!) I started doing some of my Bible reading at lunch and on breaks. Through reading the Word, God showed me that He desires for me to talk to Him. Not necessarily asking things of Him, but just talking to Him. How awesome is it that the God of this world desires to listen to me and you? He wants us to tell Him our dreams and our fears and just the normal, everyday things because He wants us to have a close, personal relationship with Him. When you love someone, you spend time talking to them and getting to know everything about them. It's the same way with God. The more you love Him, the more you spend time with Him. The more you spend time with Him, the more you desire to be like Him.
